NHS 70 Beacon Area Sheffield – “Call to Action”

19th July 2018

Do you have volunteers that are aged between 10 and 20 years who are involved in youth social action in health and care?

If yes, then join the campaign. Sheffield has been chosen as one of 7 Beacon Areas nationally to showcase youth social action in health and care as part of the NHS70th birthday celebration.  Between August and December 2018 the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH) will be running a campaign to promote youth social action in the city by showcasing what is already happening with the aim of inspiring other areas across the country.

If your organisation carries out youth social action in on or more of these themes then STH want to hear from you.

What they are offering

  • Promotion of your organisations activities and the great work you are doing with young people
  • Opportunities to increase your social media presence, be involved in press campaigns which could raise your raise your profile locally and nationally
  • Stall at the showcase event in November 2018

If you would like to be involved then please let STH know. You don’t have to attend any meetings and there won’t be any additional work for you. All they need from you is your contact details and some more information on the work you do. You will then include you on any mailings and give you the opportunity to showcase your young people throughout the campaign.

If you have any case studies or things you want to promote then please hesitate share them with us.
