Make A Difference Awards

Celebrating the quiet heroes of Sheffield

Our inaugural event, in 2016, brought together the unsung heroes of Sheffield’s community groups, charities and voluntary organisations to recognise their contributions and the immense difference they make.

The prestigious ceremony, held at the stunning Cutlers’ Hall, was well-attended with over 350 representatives from the charitable, public and private sectors, local businesses and government. The inspiring and uplifting evening was buzzing, with awards presented by Olympic Gold Medallist Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, to staff and volunteers from organisations across the city.

We’re currently looking for sponsors for our awards – more information in the brochure below.

This year we want to reach more people to celebrate the ‘quiet heroes’ in our city and the contribution they make to changing people’s lives.

We’ll be consulting soon about the award categories we should have this year –  keep an eye out to have your say!
