This is the 'gateway' qualification for trainers, tutors and teachers in the lifelong learning sector. Five days in class across seven weeks, including the design and delivery of a short session of your own. This course aims to provide an exemplar of good practice in teaching through a facilitative and supportive approach. Evidence of learning is achieved through uploading assignments to Moodle, a 'virtual learning environment' so access to the Internet is essential. You will have up to one year to complete all work for the qualification, though some elements must be completed during the course and you should ensure that you have planned time for 'homework', especially in week commencing 11th March, which is a 'study week'.
People who are relatively new to delivering training, those who wish to become trainers, people with experience but no qualification.
