Support for organisations

Steel Valley ProjectVAS supports voluntary and community organisations in Sheffield at all stages of development. It doesn't matter if you are big or small, established or new - we exist to support you and your work.

We provide advice, support, training and specialist services to help make your organisation stronger and more effective, and help you to focus on delivering your activities and services to benefit Sheffield’s communities.

Some of our services and support are free of charge and some services are charged for. We have some funding to support our work but we also have to generate income to cover some of our costs. We will be clear with you if there is any cost and will always try to offer some free or low cost advice and support, particularly for smaller organisations and groups in crisis.

Organisations with incomes of less than £50,000 are eligible to apply to the VAS Training Bursary Fund for 50% reduction on our training course fees.

FUSE - Inspiring, Enabling, Support VAS is the lead partner of a new initiative - FUSE - a partnership of infrastructure organisations that are experts in providing support services to the sector.  For more information about local services, and the FUSE Support Fund, visit www.fusesheffield.org.uk
