Small Groups Service
Voluntary Action Sheffield has a small team of staff providing information, advice, support and training to groups to help them to start up, develop and manage themselves effectively. The team provides advice, information and development support for community groups, working mainly with new and small groups, black and ethnic minority groups, women's groups and disabled people's groups.
If your group would like help with:
- getting started
- drafting a constitution
- ideas about sources of funding
- filling in application forms
- forming a management committee
- very basic book-keeping
- organising the group and running meetings
- publicity and information
- contacts in other organisations
