Community Accountancy Service
VAS's Community Accountancy Service (CAS) provides information, advice, support and training on financial matters to voluntary and community groups.
In particular, CAS provides:
Year-end Independent Examinations of Accounts
A major part of our work is the preparation and Independent Examination of accounts. It is vital to have accounts that comply with regulations laid down by your regulatory body. This service is available to charities with an income of less than £500,000 (including charitable companies).

Training and Support on Accounting Systems, including Computer Accounting Packages
We can provide tailored training charged at an hourly rate, or alternatively look at our extensive financial training programme in the Training Section.
Group Support
We can provide support on a one-to-one or group basis with accounting systems, financial management and planning and bookeeping.
