Local Strategic partnership
The Sheffield First Partnership is a ‘family’ of partnerships that brings together the public, private and voluntary and community sectors to develop and pursue a joined-up strategy to improve Sheffield.
This partnership has become the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for Sheffield, accredited by Government to oversee delivery of neighbourhood renewal in the City.
The main ways that Voluntary Action Sheffield is involved in the LSP are:
- Through representation on the Sheffield First Partnership Board
- By supporting voluntary & community sector involvement in Sheffield First for Health and Well-Being, and the 0-19+ Partnership Boards
- As a key partner in the Open Forum for Economic Regeneration (OFFER) which, supported by the Community Empowerment Fund, enables the voluntary & community sector to engage effectively with the LSP
