Sheffield LINk
Sheffield LINk (Local Involvement Network) gives local people the chance to influence health and social care services in our city. We find out what people like and dislike and then we work with those who plan and run the services to improve them.
Most of us, at some time, come into contact with local health and social care services - from an occasional visit to a GP to a long-term programme of care and support. Anyone living in Sheffield or travelling into the city to use health and social care services can get involved - it's free and your level of involvement is entirely up to you.
It's about Your Health services and Your Care services, and having Your Say.
Sheffield LINk is led by its members, through an elected Governing Board. It also has a small support team and receives strategic and operational support from Voluntary Action Sheffield (VAS.)
Anyone who lives in Sheffield or uses local health or social care services can be a member. It's free and you can be involved as much or as little as you wish.
