#Speak up grants available from Healthwatch Sheffield

Most people will have used health and social care services at some point in their life – whether it’s a visit to your doctor, pharmacist, optician, hospital, care home or received care at home.

Margaret Kilner, Chief Officer for Healthwatch Sheffield said “the #SpeakUp grants program is another opportunity for people to make their voices heard – whether the experience changed life for the better, or they have a burning idea that they’re convinced will improve the care provided in the city. We look forward to hearing from groups who have innovative ideas on how they can make this happen”.

Not for profit, third sector, voluntary or community groups can download an application from the Healthwatch Sheffield website here for up to £500 in order to run engagement activities that encourage members of the public to have conversations about their experiences of health and social care.

Groups have until 6pm on 31st January 2018 to apply.
