Volunteer Connect: Improvements to your online volunteer service

In response to feedback and continued customer investment, we are going to offer improvements to the service. We are developing the Organisation Dashboard, so you can easily filter volunteers who have enquired, ones who are in the application process, as well as those which have started and been placed. Expect these changes to be rolled out by the new year.

Alerting you when roles are about to expire so you can check whether you need to re-advertise or remove the roles. This reminder, along with the changes above, will help you better manage your recruitment process. It will also provide us with valuable data to help demonstrate our impact locally to funders and other stakeholders. Expect these changes to be rolled out by the new year.

Improved service for volunteers
We are also making the system more user friendly for volunteers. When they login they will be alerted to newly added roles that match their skills.  We’re also providing more information to the volunteer when they are deemed unsuitable for roles and alerting them to where to go to find out more information and access further support.  These will be rolled out in the next few weeks.
