Representation for Voluntary, Community and Faith Groups Working with Children and Young People
A number of people from VCF groups are supported by Voluntary Action Sheffield and the Open Forum for Economic Regeneration (OFFER) to represent the sector. The selected VCF representatives participate in the 0-19+ Partnership Board where many of the decisions about services for children & young people in Sheffield are taken. The 0-19+ Partnership Board is one of the Sheffield First family of Partnerships.
Representative update at January 2010
A selection process for new VCF representatives is currently underway. There will be four representatives from the sector recruited to sit on the 0-19+ Partnership Board and one person who will provide senior representation on the Children's Trust Executive Board.
