Children and Young People's Partnership Network Meetings
A large number of voluntary, community and faith groups working with children and young people are members of a network that is supported by Voluntary Action Sheffield. The Network currently meets bi-monthly to discuss issues of significance to their organisations and the VCF sector in Sheffield. The VCF representatives on the 0-19 Partnership are guided by the discussions at these meetings.

BME (Children and Young People) Strategy Group
Voluntary Action Sheffield also facilitates meetings for the BME (Children and Young People) Strategy group. This group has links to the BME Network in Sheffield. The aim of the group is to bring key voluntary, community and faith sector organisations together with statutory partners to improve the quality of services for children and young people from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in Sheffield. The group currently meets 3 times per year but plans to have topic-specific meetings / workshops between key meeting dates.
The next meeting of the group is scheduled for Tuesday 11th May 2010.
