  • VAS responses to the consultation questions concerning the Charitable Incorporated Organisation - click here

  • VolResource - VolResource aims to make it quick and easy to get to useful information on anything to do with running a voluntary organisation (whether a community group, charity or other non-profit body)

  • Office of the Third Sector - The Office of the Third Sector leads work across government to support the environment for a thriving third sector (voluntary and community groups, social enterprises, charities, cooperatives and mutuals), enabling the sector to campaign for change, deliver public services, promote social enterprise and strengthen communities

  • Communities and Local Government – communities and neighbourhoods. Communities and Local Government sets policy on local government, housing, urban regeneration, planning and race equality and community cohesion related issues in England. It also has a particular brief to work with local organisations to create strong, attractive and economically thriving communities and neighbourhoods.

  • The Compact - The Compact is the agreement between government and the voluntary and community sector to improve their relationship for mutual advantage and community gain. This website is provided by the Commission for the Compact, an independent organisation for the Compact, overseeing the relationship between government and the voluntary and community sector.

  • Final Part of the Picture - Executive Summary and Final Report - a study forming part of an emerging and ongoing programme of research coordinated by South Yorkshire Open Forum into the nature and development of the Voluntary and Community Sector in South Yorkshire.

  • UK Policy Online database - The Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Forum has developed this database to bring together significant regional and national policies - with a focus attention on those policies of most interest to voluntary and community organisations.
