Partners for Inclusion (P f I) is a joint initiative between Inclusive Living Sheffield (ILS), Sheffield City Council, Sheffield Primary Care Trust, Sheffield First for Health, the Trust Hospitals and disabled people in Sheffield.
P f I is working to improve services across Sheffield for everyone with a physical, sensory or cognitive impairment. We want to identify which services work well and what needs improving. By working in partnership with the local authority, health providers and the voluntary sector we can have a real influence on policy making, and improving services for all. P f I has been involved with a number of consultation and events, including consultations on the Department of Health Green Paper on the future of adult social care in England. We have also done some partnership work with the National Service Framework (NSF) Group on Long-Term Neurological Conditions.
